UK Out of home media owner OPEN Media have launched their new 2022 strategy this week – People Place and Planet. We are told that these three pillars of focus will run through every aspect of their business moving forward.

Mike Smith, Founder and CVO of OPEN Media told us “We are thrilled to launch our new strategy, People, Place and Planet and are committed and passionate about executing our plans. OPEN will put the well-being of its team first always. Continue to change outdoor with our locations and data, help towards a more sustainable industry and keep doing good business for the communities in which we operate”.

Mirroring the rapid growth of the company in 2021, OPEN Media will be employing five new people this year across a range of departments including Sales, Marketing and Finance. Their commitment to offering new opportunities and growing their team is remarkable in a post-COVID business environment.

Included in their commitment to their people will be the implementation of new initiatives to make OPEN an even better place to work, such as integrating working from home, offering wellness days every month, offering a personal development fund and also giving staff the opportunity to take time out during work hours to volunteer at a charity of their choice.

OPEN Media have always been committed to sourcing impactful locations with incremental reach for their clients, and this PPP strategy will see them streamline their sites into five major networks in 2022. The decision to expand to 5 networks aims to offer clients a wide variety of OOH options to satisfy any client need, and cover every demographic imaginable with impactful messaging.

The company has pledged to prioritise their journey to carbon neutrality through decarbonising and offsetting; constantly measuring their impact within the business and its supply chain, forecasting ahead and reviewing/improving their methods. This commitment to the planet will coincide with the many CSR focused campaigns already undertaken by OPEN Media, including International Women’s Day, Pride Month and Black History Month.
