We are very excited to welcome some new names to DailyDOOH in the form of our CONTRIBUTORS.
This initiative will mean even more great content and opinion from DailyDOOH and you will be able to see the names of Manolo Almagro, Russ Curry, Alex Hughes and Chris Sheldrake at the bottom left of each post from now on.
Here is some more background detail are our ‘founder’ contributors…
Manolo Almagro is the Senior Vice President & Chief Technology Officer for MarketForward, A Publicis Groupe Company. He is responsible for digital product strategies, off-shore team management, identifying potential technology merger/acquisition targets and analyzing emerging technology and trends for MarketForward’s clients- Key areas of focus are in; WCM, CDN, DAM, digital studio, in-store/retail technologies, Web 2.0, social media, MOM, DAM, SEO, SEM and mobile marketing applications.
Russ Curry (MBCIM) has a background in retail marketing in the music business, where he worked for both the ‘majors’ and the ‘independents’. With the music business going pear-shaped, he moved into video production in 2005, specialising in co-producing very short programmes with cable TV stations in France. A music video supplier then asked him to source other video content for a European DOOH network – which lead to the realisation that there’s a bigger need for ‘content’ to insert in between the ads AND so to the creation of ‘i-conic images’, a B2B agency supplying content (stock video and short programmes) exclusively for the DOOH market.
Alex Hughes is Strategy Director and founder of Amigo Digital, previously Director New Platforms MTV Networks Europe. Alex’s skills lie in developing effective creative communication strategies for brands across digital media. He also mountain bikes badly…
Chris Sheldrake as well as being the TCP/IP Content Delivery Manager for one of the UK’s leading retail and leisure lifestyle digital music providers, is an active UK private investor in the digital out of home sector.
These contributors (and we have a few more up our sleeve) mean also that we will be able to give even better coverage of North America, Canada, France and Scandinavia.
