Organising Your Own #OOHNYC Open House

Tristan Cotterill

It’s not too late to organise your own #OOHNYC event, and in fact we have a couple of ‘happenings’ that we will be announcing early next week, incuding a ‘Walk and Talk’ Coffee event at David Geffen Hall, Kennedy Center.

New York Digital Signage Week first took place back in October 2012 and during its pre-Covid19 heyday saw as many as 45 events, 108 speakers and 5,500 attendees participating in the week, what a wonderful year 2019 was, Ed.

This year, now its 12th, we thought the week needed something of a refresh and a name change to better reflect the sort of events that are typically held, so in a month and a bits time it will be Out of Home New York that will take place from Monday October 9 to Fridqy October 13.

The week will still be the usual heady mix of FREE and PAID for events – conferences, showcases, cocktails, open house, breakfast debates, tours and other ad-hoc activities.

Already confirmed we have DSF Cocktails & Controversy, the DPAA VIP Newsmaker Dinner, the DPAA Global Summit, the Sony Professional Display Solutions Roadshow, SOLOMON Cocktails, OAAA Cocktails, XUSC Jazz & Cocktails, a Walk and Talk’ Coffee event at David Geffen Hall, a Daktronics NYC Partner Appreciation Reception, a Planar Virtual Production Studio Open House & Demo, Planar Emerging Trends in Education Luncheon, a Planar Showroom Open House & Happy Hour, the Brand Experience Lab’s Future of Digital Out-of-Home Advertising event and a leading Hologram provider open house. If you have ideas or want to discuss ideas of your own then please get in touch.

Last year the week started to get back to normal and saw 32 events take place that attracted just over 3,000 attendees (2022).

The suggested hashtag for the week is #OOHNYC.
