Dirk Hülsermann, President of OVAB Europe told us “The three new members are strengthening our position as a European lobby of providers and service providers of audiovisual media at the POS and POI and are immediately bringing additional valuable experience and expertise into our network”
He added “With Can Media from the DOOH scene in the UK we have gained a real heavy-weight and, through this, we are shifting our emphasis onto media”. CAN Media of course join existing founding (media owner) members Neo Advertising and ECE Flatmedia in OVAB Europe.

He added (and this is important) “Our industry needs an organisation that will ensure that both its members and their clients receive a consistent and accurate message. Phil continued “Our industry has become more and more fragmented as new players are entering the market with bold predictions at the same time as last year’s entrants are leaving the market. OVAB Europe has the opportunity of consolidating the market and, for the first time ever, give our industry credibility.” and of course he is spot on. CAN Media are undoubtedly the UK market leaders, with profits (yes ‘profits’), a good business model, bold vision, great management team and hard working and knowledgable employees.
It’s great to have these three companies add to OVAB Europe and all will contribute in their own way – CAN Media are indeed a heavyweight and well respected in the industry so maybe it will also make other people consider their position on membership.
Watch out though for never.no – one of those hidden gems of a business with have got TV and mobile integration pretty much perfect and are starting to make big waves in OOH and DOOH.
