Gwen Coble, product manager for retail solutions, personal systems group, EMEA, HP, told the audience that Digital Signage is becoming part of the Retail Solutions business at HP within the Personal Systems Group.
She said that her group is working closely with Intel to support vPro and standardizing of the core series processor as well as to manage different devices.
Coble also said that HP was introducing the new HP 47″ LCD digital signage display (already available elsewhere) to the EMEA and that a new 42″ unit, the 4220 LCD, will be available in November.
“Our goal is to have a full portfolio of digital signage products,” said Coble.
