The upcoming Mobile Marketing Association Forum Los Angeles will feature two full days of exclusive workshops and sessions designed to illuminate key trends, successful campaigns and effective mobile marketing strategies.

MMA Forum Los Angeles takes place Nov.16-17 at the SLS Hotel at Beverley Hills.

“MMA Forum Los Angeles has always been the place where thought leaders from brands, agencies, carriers and others across the global mobile marketing ecosystem connect,” says Michael Becker, North America managing director of the MMA.

“This year, because of our unprecedented slate of workshops and sessions on Nov. 16 and 17, it’s also the best opportunity to learn from our industry’s visionaries about the most effective ways to engage the customer.”

In past years, the Forum Los Angeles offered full workshops on the 17th with a limited number of pre-Forum workshops on the 16th. This is the first year that a full slate of roundtables and workshops is being offered on both days, turning the Forum into a true, two-day event. The three-hour sessions offered on Nov. 16 cover some of the most important topics in mobile marketing, and their more intimate format allows for a real interactive learning experience. Attendees will be able to connect with top global brands including Cars.com, Coca-Cola, ESPN, GameStop, JetBlue, Men’s Wearhouse, Microsoft Advertising, Paramount Pictures, Target Corporation, The Tribune Company, The Weather Channel; as well as Merkle, P.F. Chang, AirG, ExactTarget, Hipcricket, Digimarc, Poynt and more.

The Forum presents four roundtables Nov. 16: ‘Fundamentals of Mobile Marketing Success’; ‘MoSoLoCo: How Brands Harness Winning Strategies and Tactics’, sponsored by Sybase365; ‘Keys to Understanding Today’s Consumer’, sponsored by AirG; and ‘Mapping Out a Framework for Understanding the Cross-Media Mobile Marketing Landscape’, sponsored by ExactTarget.

Six workshops will take place Nov. 17: ‘What’s On the Horizon with Advertising?’, sponsored by AT&T Adworks; ‘The Marketer Speaks’, sponsored by Poynt; ‘Mobile Relationship Management’, sponsored by Vibes; ‘Industry Trends That Drive Success’; ‘Every Cloud has a Silver Lining – the Future of Mobile Cloud Computing’, sponsored by Neustar; and ‘Engaging Consumers, Government and Creating the Modern Day Organization’.

Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa will be the featured speaker at a special lunch held Nov. 17. A complete list of speakers can be found here.

The MMA Forum Los Angeles will also feature The Mobile Experience Lab, an interactive way for delegates to meet the industry’s thought leaders, experience mobile technologies firsthand and interact with brands using mobile as part of their integrated marketing strategy.

The Forum will also be the scene of the annual MMA Mobile Marketing Awards Gala. The MMA Awards for Innovation and Leadership are believed to be the world’s only global mobile marketing awards program recognizing outstanding achievement within the industry.
