SAS Acquire aiMatch

SAS announced today that it has acquired aiMatch, a Raleigh, North Carolina-based company founded in 2010 that markets an intelligent ad-serving platform for online publishers.

Whilst this is not (yet at least) DOOH related, it does cover iPad, iPhones, Apps, Android and general mobile video capabilities along with online (Display) advertising.

It’s only time before we get a SAS or Oracle type company enter the space.

A new Business Intelligence R&D division called Advertising R&D (AdRaD) has been formed inside SAS itself to, and we quote “take the power of SAS® Analytics and apply it to mobile, display and video advertising”.
