Digital Signage Expo International Tradeshow and Conference dedicated to digital signage, interactive technology and digital out-of-home networks is now accepting speaker proposals for its 10th anniversary educational conference, taking place Feb. 26-28, 2013, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
DSE has organized 10 Educational Oversight Committees comprised of industry experts who have volunteered to recommend topics, review proposals and approve presentations for each of the eight tracks and three of the pre-show events in the #dse013 conference, says Richard Lebovitz, DSE editorial director. These Educational Oversight Committees will evaluate each proposal for its insight, perspective, relevance, usefulness and timeliness.
While topics other than those recommended will be considered, the proposal must make a clear case for its inclusion. DSE is especially interested in proposals from end-users, network operators, ad agencies and brand marketers willing to share their real-world digital signage experiences. Prior to submitting a proposal, please review each committee’s topic suggestions located here.
Because there will be 32 conference seminars, applicants are advised that space on the DSE 2013 conference program is limited, and DSE will be able to use only a certain number of the suggested topics and proposals.
Proposals should align with DSE 2013 Tracks, which include:
- Digital Signage Fundamentals;
- Digital Out-of-Home Networks;
- Ad Agencies & Brand Marketers;
- Content University;
- Hardware, Software & Connectivity
- Network Design, Management & Operations;
- Interactive Technology;
- Special Interest.
Proposals can also be submitted for the following DSE 2013 Pre-Show events: Digital Place-Based Advertising Summit; Digital Signage in Education; Digital Signage in Restaurants: Challenges and Solutions for Fast Casual and QSR; and Digital Signage 360: A Global Perspective.
“DSE’s conference education will focus exclusively on what is most relevant to attendees in 2013,” says Lebovitz. “Our attendees, who include 40 distinct end-user types from the U.S. and over 60 foreign countries, are primarily interested in how to successfully deploy and manage a digital signage system within their particular venue or venues. We are therefore looking for thought-provoking topics that will help our attendees achieve those goals.”
Applicants may download a Speaker Proposal form here.
Proposals are to be submitted to Brenda Keys, conference director, at firstname.lastname@example.org, by July 16, 2012. For questions, contact Richard Lebovitz, editorial & educational services director, at email@example.com.
