Ayuda Expands To The Asia Pacific Region

We’ve learned that Ayuda Media Systems, Montreal, has expanded with the creation of Ayuda APAC, an Asia Pacific subsidiary, to be headed by Selina Carey, as director of client services.

Ayuda will be making the official announcement Thursday at the 53rd FEPE International Congress in Milan.

Andreas Soupliotis, Ayuda president and CEO, who refers to Carey as a superstar talent, says, “Ayuda only hires the best, and Selina, like all of our personnel who come to us from international backgrounds with varied yet deep OOH industry understanding, perfectly embodies the top notch Ayuda product and support philosophy.”

Carey recently joined Ayuda to leverage her OOH industry experience and systems management capabilities to support the growth that Ayuda has been experiencing specifically in the Australian and general APAC markets. With recent announcements of such customer wins in the region as the rollout of the Ayuda Platform to EYE Corp. globally, (see separate announcement – Ed.) she will perform an instrumental role in ensuring customer success as well as spearheading additional growth.

Carrey joined Adshel in 1999 and later formed a new campaign planning department in Sydney, while in 2005, she successfully deployed the new sales and traffic system throughout Australia and New Zealand. On completion of the project, Selina was transferred to the international division of Clear Channel Outdoor to strengthen its European implementation team.

Two years later, she was asked to move to the Clear Channel UK division, to manage its IT support and development teams. Carey later shifted into an implementation management role with a software company that specializes in media facility management and broadcast scheduling, working with a broad spectrum of clients across Europe and the Middle East.

Carey recently moved back to Sydney where she will personally oversee systems implementation and client support for major customer deployments such as with EYE Corp, in addition to managing additional expansion and growth initiatives.

Soupliotis says, “Selina is one of the most knowledgable people I have ever come across when it comes to sales and traffic systems for OOH. Her knowledge of the OOH industry, combined with her extensive international implementation experience, will be vital as we undertake the global rollout with EYE Corp, while at the same time continuing our expansion into the Asia Pacific market.”

Carey herself says that the Ayuda team has “a fantastic, unique product that customers just love using, which I’m sure is going to take the Asia Pacific OOH market by storm!”.
