My @DPAads Conference Expectations By Ashley Flaska

We wanted to find out what individuals and sponsors are looking for when they attend a conference such as the upcoming Oct. 16 Digital Place-based Advertising Association Digital Media Summit, so figured that there was no better person to ask than Ashley Flaska, vice-president marketing at NEC Display Solutions.

Ashley Flaska

NEC VUKUNET is major sponsor at the Summit, will have a booth in the Media Lab section outside the main conference room, and – what excites Flaska the most – will be holding a break-out session in a separate room after lunch prior to the first afternoon session.

“We hope to meet a mix of great agency contacts and digital place-based networks,” says Flaska. “Our special interest would be the agency side, and with a larger attendance expected than last year, we have high expectations.”

At the Media Lab booth, Flaska says that there will be a basic demonstration of what VUKUNET offers. However, during the break out session at 1:15 p.m., expected to last about 30 minutes, attendants can get a full demonstration of VUKUNET’s impressive capabilities.

“They’ll see a demonstration of movement from the planning of a campaign to getting it up in real time in about 10 minutes,” says Flaska. “It shows how fast and responsive VUKUNET ad serving technology is. It also shows how quickly the content of an ad could be changed, if necessary.”
