The UK’s largest Digital Media owner Amscreen announced this week a deal with INRIX, the leading provider of traffic information, directions and driver services.
If you are confused with INRIX versus Garmin then don’t be – INRIX provides the data behind the traffic feeds and Garmin sponsors these feeds. Cleverly, Garmin own’s navigation product messaging (i.e. an advert) follows the feeds with a 10 second promo (which of course, contextually fits perfectly with the provision of useful traffic data to the motoring audience).
Nick Simmons, General Manager of INRIX media told us “INRIX is dedicated to providing accurate and flexible traffic information. Partnering with Amscreen, whose extensive network reaches millions weekly, enables us to help keep people moving across the UK and beyond”.
This deal sees INRIX take over as the provider of traffic information across the entire Amscreen network – INRIX provide data across a wide range of regions, including Europe, Australia, the Middle East and Africa.
