ComQi whose chairman flew to Lost Wages from the UK, seemingly with the sole purpose of seeking meetings at #dse2014 to sell the business certainly had some gall telling everyone they met at the show that they had sewn up the business with McDonalds Europe.
At best ComQi has 50 to 100 restaurants for an in-window project via an agency with McDonalds in the UK.
The first rule when working for Ronald McDonald is that you don’t talk (full stop). There is a full page in the contract with McDonalds that prevents any supplier from any PR (or chit-chat) about them.
