Nokia To Acquire Novarra

Nokia, Espoo, Finland, is acquiring Chicago-based Novarra, developer of a mobile Web browser and service platform, for an undisclosed amount. Nokia announced that Novarra’s mobile browser and services platform will be used to deliver enhanced Internet experiences on Nokia mobile devices. Founded in 1999, Novarra has raised more than $50 million in funding to date.
