The Lausanne region public transport (tl) companies have awarded three commercial advertising tenders in and on vehicles, including métro m1 and m2 stations with effect from January 1, 2017.

APG|SGA has won two of these and will be responsible for marketing all the tl’s interior analogue and digital spaces (all buses and métro).

Daniel Flück, Head of APG|SGA Traffic told us “We are absolutely delighted to receive this vote of confidence from tl, which affirms our successful activities in the area of indoor formats», says The digital TrafficMediaScreens launched last year are already well established on the market and enjoy a high level of acceptance by passengers. The successful national products with hanging displays and window banners are still available, of course”.

APG|SGA was awarded exclusive marketing rights for the métro stops (lines 1 and 2). APG|SGA is planning to integrate additional advertising formats here from 2017 onwards.

Olivier Chabanel, Head of Acquisition – Western Region said “We want to work together with tl to further enhance the attractiveness of Switzerland’s only métro. Our plans include extensive digitization of the advertising spaces and systematic use of our broad portfolio, also incorporating promotions, which work extremely well in combination with other advertising spaces in this environment“.

In the coming weeks, APG|SGA will work with tl to define the implementation of the new advertising spaces and their phased roll-out in the course of the next few years.
