Retec Digital (who used to be RET.L before announcing their intention to delist from AIM) have owned the DVD / CD / Games section of UK retailer Sainsburys for some time now.

Here we see a very short content loop. The content was poor in general and we can’t believe that it was put together by the professionals down at Liquid Digital (who were acquired by Retec back in May 2008) who normally do such a great job – especially with the WH Screen network they manage.

The adverts for the games were mostly 30 seconds long (i.e. too long), there was no ‘buzz’, no continuity between the clips (in fact there were some unsightly 1 -2 second gaps between adverts) and there was no feel good editorial apart from a Games top ten listig.

Wii were using there TV adverts as well on the screens.

Could be done much, much better!!
