Kinetic Appoints New UK Head of Digital
Earlier this week Kinetic announced the appointment of Carolyn Nugent to the position of UK Head of Digital. This post follows of course the appointment of Dennis Kuperus earlier this month to Digital Director EMEA and is obviously part of a wider strategic push by the company into Digital Out of Home.
Carolyn will report to James Copley UK MD and will work with Kuperus to develop Kinetic’s strong existing digital Out of Home strategy across the UK.Kinetic is a major buyer of DOOH, spending in the region of GBP 45 million over the last two years. Nugent will bring together Kinetic’s experience of effective digital Out of Home planning and promote the possibilities of the medium to the broader advertising community, calling on Kinetic’s range of services, tools and expertise.
James Copley, Kinetic UK MD told us “I am delighted that Carolyn is re-joining the team to work with Dennis on what is becoming a really important area of the business. Digital Out of Home is driving flexibility and change across outdoor media and Carolyn will be integrating new technologies into our Pathway planning services across the EMEA region.”
Nugent’s outdoor career began in 1995 at Poster Publicity where she was responsible for a range of agencies and clients such as Starcom MediaVest and the BBC. Following the launch of Kinetic, Nugent became Strategic Planning Director and played a key role in securing the Unilever account and was also responsible for the implementation of “ACADEMY”, Kinetic’s bespoke suite of planning and buying tools.
Since 2007, Nugent has worked for Kinetic on a consultative basis and this move now sees her return full-time.
