Carlipa Systems who have been quiet of late, especially outside Paris told us a week or so ago that they have just helped Carlson Wagonlit Travel launch CWTV – a new TV channel for the store-windows of 63 of the best-located travel agencies in France.

The network has only just been set up in Paris but will soon be deployed in 62 other key locations in France and is described as “the first Digital Signage solution to feature in the windows of French travel agencies”

Carlipa tell us that the CWTV channel has been “conceived to gain the attention of passers-by, and will complement the existing window displays” – it’s hardly TV if its retail and facing onto the street though!

Anyway, as the potential audience is estimated to be 1.7 million people per week CWTV is looking to attract a number of advertising partners…

CWTV is offering exceptional prices to its advertising partners during the deployment phase and to mark the launch of this new media opportunity (until December 31st). According to their needs, advertisers can choose to integrate their advertising message to the current play-list, to sponsor some existing topics (news, weather, tourism news) or to develop new topics which relate directly to their business.

This looks like a nice size rollout, not Carlipa’s usual luxury brand focus so a good win for them and it will give their media sales unit Brandcorp something to do!
