Visix Inc., digital signage software firm, recently relocated its Atlanta headquarters to a larger facility at 230 Scientific Drive, allowing the company to add 20 employees locally and to expand its service offering, while accelerating product development timelines.

The modern 14,000 square foot facility is twice the size of the company’s former headquarters, seats up to 47 employees and supports plans for growth through 2015. Included in the new layout are discreet software isolation and hardware testing labs, a multi-purpose training room, a state-of-the-art network operations center, an employee fitness center and an expansive employee lounge.

Visix is employing a fully-deployed AxisTV Enterprise visual communications suite utilizing 27 digital signage displays and numerous other features. The building also boasts an array of Visix’s recessed and surface-mounted interactive MeetingMinder room signs.

“The opening of our new headquarters is an example of our increasing footprint and demonstrates our commitment to growth in the digital signage industry,” says Sean Matthews, Visix president. “We have consistently grown over the past five years and this new facility allows us to continue our expansion, improve efficiencies and provide a better workplace for our employees.”

Visix expanded its North American field sales force in Q4 2009 and posted record Q1 returns for 2010.
