Zoom Media Gets Bigger

Look for a huge announcement from Montreal-based Zoom Media today.

The company has made a major purchase, upping its digital screens from 1,200 to 26,250. If you omit the retail POP sector such as Wal-Mart, we understand that the buy moves Zoom into the top three ranking of digital companies worldwide, along with National CineMedia and Screenvision. And no, this one doesn’t involve theatre ads!!!

It also gives Zoom an office in England to add to numerous offices in the U.S. and Canada.
