RMG’s McGuire To Keynote

Gail Chiasson, North American Editor

Having heard Garry McGuire speak in New York last year at the Digital Signage Investor Conference, I expect that we’ll all be in for a real treat when Maguire gives the keynote on Thursday, April 28 at Customer Engagement Technology World 2011 in San Francisco.

McGuire, CEO of, Reach Media Group, San Francisco, will discuss ‘Using Digital-Out-Of Home to Change the Way Customers Engage with Brands & Products’. We understand that during his talk he’ll be discussing the use of video to activate mobile and social awareness strategies to surround consumers throughout their day.

Prior to joining RMG, McGuire had more than 15 years of advertising, marketing and general business experience on the client-side as a chief marketing officer and on the agency-side as president of several domestic and international advertising agencies. And with RMG offering DOOH networks in half-a-dozen verticals, we know he’s got some solid experience from which to draw.

Keynote speaker on Wednesday, April 27, is Sean Andersen, director of interactive services, Six Flags, as Adrian mentioned yesterday.

CETW will have a myriad of conference sessions dealing with DOOH advertising; self-service kiosks; mobile; business strategie; digital place-based media networks; multichannel engagement; social media and more.

There’ll also Tech Talks, popular sessions that address the latest technical and operational challenges in self-service, mobile and digital signage; the Speed II Training Program, a renowned digital signage training; Content Best Practices and other educational sessions not to be missed.
