When Ajay Chowdhury, CEO of ComQi, takes over the mike at the Strategy Institute’s Digital Signage Investor Conference panel discussion on The Stories Behind the Million-Dollar Funding Deals, we have a feeling he’ll have an interesting story to tell, now that Enqii Holdings and Minicom Digital Signage have been living together as one for the past six months.
Chowdhury will be on a panel that also includes Dave Courtney, CEO of JiWire, San Francisco, and Paul Rawlings, founder and CEO of ScreenReach Interactive Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, and all three are heavyweights that should have interesting stories to tell.
We had a peek at some of Chowdhury’s thoughts for the conference when we interviewed him this week for an extensive article on ComQi that will appear next Tuesday. Among them, he’ll be looking at the difficulties faced by network operators, system integrators and both software and hardware providers.
“Digital Signage is not an easy market to invest in,” says Chowdhury.
He’ll be looking at how ComQi has gone about changing the paradigm as the new company’s management sees it, and ‘how it’s not about digital signage anymore.’
Can you say “multichannel message management?” We expect it’s a term you’ll be hearing a lot about from Chowdhury.
We think this could be one of the ‘hot’ panels on Day 1, Oct. 17. Don’t miss it!
