OutdoorLink Inc. Joins OMAC

OutdoorLink Inc., Huntsville, Alberta-based creator/owner of SmartLink, has joined the Out-of-Home Marketing Association of Canada as an associate member.

SmartLink is a wireless, machine-to-machine (M2M), lighting controller designed exclusively for the outdoor advertising industry.

SmartLink enables outdoor companies to remotely control and monitor utility consumption via a web-based application from their desktop or mobile device. SmartLink will notify the user of any electrical issues at the billboard such as loss of power, bulb outage, tamper, or bad neutral. It can also restore power, adjust for daylight savings and local sunrise and sunset change.

Other products have been developed that control digital boards and measure solar and wind production.
