President and Founder of Show+Tell will contribute to the organization’s efforts in Dynamic Environments
January 12, 2009, New York – Show+Tell today announced its President and Founder, Philip Lenger, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Society for Environmental Graphic Design (SEGD). Mr. Lenger will serve a three-year term on the board, which contributes greatly to the vitality of the organization.
SEGD is the global community for people who work at the intersection of communication design and the built environment. Founded in 1974 and originally named the Society of Environmental Graphic Designers, SEGD has grown into an international educational foundation with over 1200 members.
Mr. Lenger has played a significant role in previous SEGD events, specifically those focused on the Dynamic Environments category. Dynamic Environments merge architecture, content, and technology to create engaging public space, art installations, exhibitions and mixed-use locations.
For more than 10 years, Show+Tell has provided consulting, creative, and technology services to architects and designers producing Dynamic Environments. Mr. Lenger is an industry expert and frequently called upon to share his insight and knowledge in this evolving space.
