With the release of the new LED Street Furniture product, Daktronics is showcasing the value of OPEN Out-of-Home Solutions, now Daktronics Belgium.
Prior to 2013, the two companies had been working together to manufacture and deliver digital displays in Europe, with OPEN making the cabinets for the Daktronics LED technology. In January, Daktronics entered an agreement to purchase OPEN.
Daktronics Belgium opens new doors for the company in Europe, attempting to offer a complete product line for third party advertising companies, including digital solutions.
In addition to the usual product offering, Daktronics has gained manufacturing space in Belgium, growing the company to five manufacturing facilities worldwide.
