Digital Signage Expo, considered the world’s largest International Tradeshow and Educational Conference dedicated to digital signage, interactive technology and digital out-of-home networks will, for its 11th event, be held (on a one time basis) at the Sands Expo & Convention Center, Las Vegas, February 11-13, 2014 (it returns to the LVCC in 2015).
The theme this year is ‘Achieving Digital Signage ROI Success’, and that theme will play a large role in almost every one of the #dse2014 educational seminar tracks, with speakers expanding upon the different ways that return on investment (ROI) and return on objective (ROO) impact decision-making, with forward-looking perspectives on the industry.
“In order to substantiate investment in digital signage and interactive technologies, companies want to know what benefits they can realize from their investment,” says Richard Lebovitz, educational and editorial director for Exponation LLC, which produces DSE. “However, there are different methods to calculating a return because individual project goals, venue environments, and target audiences are unique to each situation. That’s why DSE’s 2014 educational offerings will help attendees focus on ROI and ROO at each step, beginning with the importance of planning and goal setting.”
In all, the 2014 program will be comprised of 11 pre- and post-show educational events, 28 general conference seminars, as well as 60 targeted Industry Vertical Discussion Groups and 14 free presentations staged in on-floor theaters.
Attendees will be able to choose from 28 general conference and seminar programs presented by an outstanding faculty of peer professionals and industry specialists. DSE’s educational oversight committee reviewed scores of proposals and selected the most relevant and timely topics that will be presented at DSE 2014 in the following tracks:
- Digital Signage Fundamentals
- Interactive Technology
- Digital Out-of-Home Networks
- Hardware, Software & Connectivity
- Network Design, Management & Operations
- Content University
- Special Interest
New for 2014 are four new full day pre-show conferences for a total of nine to be presented on Tuesday, February 11th.
In addition to the seminar curriculum, #dse2014 will offer a program of study to ensure professional re-certification in cooperation in eight educational tracks with the Digital Signage Experts Group. And over 200 exhibitors will feature technology and services including hardware, software, network, delivery and content from around the globe.
