An experiential event, NEC Solutions Showcase will strive to deliver something unique and fresh to its visitors – and new for 2014, the Solutions Showcase is set to become the foundation for a Digital Signage Week, with a number of industry events taking place in parallel – our readers might remember that, in London at The DailyDOOH Gala Awards last November, Dirk Hülsermann, OVAB President and NEC Display Solutions Manager DOOH Solutions, called for a London Media Week, using the NYC #DpbMedia Week as being the sort of example that the UK and Continental Europe media industry needed to follow – Ed.
Attracting attention from a wider community, events including The DailyDOOH Media Summit (Tuesday, May 13), an ‘Employee Communication’ Thought Leadership Summit, and Scala‘s European Partner Conference, will draw together expertise from a broader interest group to foster even greater synergies.
Also new for 2014, the Showcase will run over two days allowing additional time to nurture the successful networking element of the event, enabling greater opportunities to develop existing and potential business contacts.
“With an ever increasing number of attendees, we felt it right to augment the Showcase to two days duration, primarily to improve engagement levels for our visitors and partners but also to accommodate the many other events that will be taking place in conjunction with our event this year as part of London Digital Signage Week,” says Simon Jackson, vice-president, NEC Display Solutions.
