Montreal-based VIF Télé has acquired the operations of SMS Looky, a Boisbriand, Quebec company specializing in the management and transmission of SMS text messages for information purposes, notifications, alerts and marketing.
This acquisition allows VIF Télé to expand its product range and services in digital media by integrating mobility and interactivity.
Now, in addition to digital signage, VIF Télé will offer a system for managing the simultaneous sending, receiving and tracking of SMS messages to targeted audiences, which have previously agreed to receive communication with this technology.
This communication is more targeted, customized and direct. SMS Looky can quickly reach groups of different sizes. To complete the SMS Looky platform, VIF Télé will offer related services in content production, reporting and mobile app development.
Founded nearly 10 years ago, VIF Télé offers digital media services in office and retail environments, especially for clients Sobeys (IGA), RONA, Banque Laurentienne, Laboratoires Biron and Rôtisseries Au Coq.
With 2,000 screens at 400 addresses, VIF Télé is one of the biggest digital signage operator/integrators based in Québec.
