As Cisco Kill The Flip What Else Would They Kill?

News that the ‘networking and router company’ Cisco is shutting down the consumer-oriented Flip camera business that it bought for $590m less than 24 months ago should send shivers down the spines of all those who work at Cisco in their (so-called) Digital Signage business.

If they move so fast to kill a company that they purchased less than 2 years ago what would stop them from retreating from Digital Signage?

    Here’s a guess as to why they might not be so “flip” about digital signage: digital signage leverages their core strengths.

    Yeah they sell $hit SW that makes you have to dig deep for new switches and routers – Smart !!
