YCD|RAMP Integration With Google Web Designer

YCD Multimedia has just announced an innovative workflow for YCD|RAMP (the company’s proprietary Retail Advertising and Merchandising Platform) with Google Web Designer (GWD), a free tool for creating HTML5 pages, banner ads, and widgets launched by Google last month.

YCD has created a seamless workflow for importing Google Web Designer projects directly into RAMP, enabling YCD customers to create templates themselves without needing HTML or Flash Studio services – by tagging media and text in GWD, customers can take advantage of RAMP’s dynamic data features (pricing, product images, call to action, and more).

Upon import, RAMP identifies and associates these tags with RAMP dynamic objects, and creates ‘native’ RAMP templates that are immediately available to a user – sample HTML5 projects are also provided with this integration, Ed.

“With the introduction of Google Web Designer, our R&D team quickly realized the importance of finding ways for our users to use this powerful tool as part of their digital signage workflow in RAMP,” said Eran Sharon, VP of Product Management, YCD Multimedia. “Google Web Designer brought great advertising-focused HTML5 design tools to the world. With our new integration update for RAMP we are excited to put these tools to work in a new way making template creation by YCD customers fast, simple, and free.”
