First Crowdfunding Campaign Launched By SignVine For Shanti Mandir

Shanti Mandir working in conjunction with SignVine has begun a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for a much needed LED message sign for its facility in Walden, NY.
Our readers might remember our articles in April regarding how SignVine is a new specialized crowdfunding website with the aim of helping deserving non-profit organizations with crowdfunding campaigns as an online fundraising tool to help raise money towards the purchase of a new outdoor message sign.
Churches, civic groups, and other nonprofits have their own webpage within SignVine for fundraising online from the local and national community towards the purchase of an outdoor message sign.
They can tell their story or cause, show pictures and inspirational videos, and share updates to their online community
Mike Prongue, campaign director for SignVine, announced the new campaign for Shanti Mandir and urged all those interesting in supporting this campaign to visit the SignVine website to view additional information and watch its video.
“A new message sign will help us spread the word to those who want to participate in the activities we offer, to those who are in need of the social services we offer, and to those who want to contribute towards our noble causes,” says Vinay Desai of Shanti Mandir.
Shanti Mandir, a community-oriented nonprofit organization located in Walden, N.Y., offers a comprehensive program of activities to improve people’s lives through the practices of meditation, yoga, chanting, workshops, retreats, Indian classical music concerts, healthy and delicious food, and four charitable activities. The charitable activities include Mobile Health Clinic, Eye Camps to give treatment to patients with eye diseases, a school that provides holistic education to impoverished youth, and a project towards empowering women as peaceful agents of social change. As its name means, Shanti Mandir is a temple of peace, calm and tranquility that engages in benevolent work for the Walden, NY community.
“Our outreach goals include inviting those in the local community to participate in our activities and also collaborating with the community on various projects,” says Desai.
“We are honored that the Shanti Mandir selected SignVine to execute this campaign,” Prongue says. “We know that they will be successful in achieving their funding goal of approximately $42,000, when the Walden community and the Shanti Mandir group rallies to support this effort.”
