The DailyDOOH Investor Conference (Planning)

Adrian J Cotterill, Editor-in-Chief

Planning for The DailyDOOH Investor Conference continues apace and as you can see from the photo below the co-chairmen insist on ‘planning’ in style…

AJC and Nesbit HRR 2014

The DailyDOOH Investor Conference will be held October 22, 2014 (once again in the TriBeCa Conference Room in the Dentons office on the 24th Floor of the McGraw Hill Building at 1221 Avenue of the Americas) as part of New York Digital Signage Week (Oct 20-24).

The industry knows what a great speaker ZOOM Media’s Francois de Gaspe Beaubien is (and the great insight he can pass onto the audience) so without hesitation we invited him to keynote the event.

Mind you, we have plenty of other great speakers lined up, including;

  • Generation Partners’s Andrew Hertzmark and CEO Captivate, Marc Kidd
  • New Exterion Media CEO Shaun Gregory who did such a great job ending The DailyDOOH Media Summit for us back in May will also speak, possibly sharing the stage with a member of Platinum Equity’s European investment team
  • Barco N.V.’s Director Investor Relations, Carl Vanden Bussche who will talk about, among other things, BARCO’s recent acquisition of X20 Media
  • & more!

We intend to invigorate the audience immediately after lunch with a new ‘soapbox’ session (for those of you who attended The DailyDOOH Media Summit in London back in May, think along the lines of the Technology Snapshot ‘elevator pitches’). These are short, sharp 10-15 minute presentations from industry experts with a passion for a problem that they see the industry facing … so far we have Christie Managed Services / Arsenal Media‘s Denys Lavigne and VUKUNET’s Dirk Huelsermann lined up with one other still TBA.

The DailyDOOH Investor Conference wouldn’t be the same of course without our regular supporter Mark Boidman Managing Director | Director | Peter J Solomon Company who will once again give the audience the  benefit of his insight.

Add in to that heady mix, Andy Roth from Dentons discussing from a legal perspective ‘Privacy Issues in the Digital Space’ and a big Canadian media own and we have what is always; (a) a great event and (b) an unprecedented networking opportunity.

Sponsors and a full agenda will be announced just as soon as our (third) business partner gets himself off of Demis Roussos’s private Greek Island – he needs to know that Steve and I have been working hard planning all this (see top pic) whilst he has been away on vacation.
