Dr. Raymond Pettit has joined Premier Retail Networks Inc., San Francisco, as vice-president of market research.
Pettit joins PRN after serving as president of ERP Associates, a firm that provides advanced analytic strategy, guidance and insights to Fortune 500 clients. The author of two books on marketing and advertising research, he has worked as a quantitative and qualitative research executive and consultant for a number of U.S. and European firms in a variety of industries.
He has also been an adjunct professor at the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College/CUNY and, for the American Marketing Association in Chicago, he created and taught a course on marketing accountability and ROI approaches as part of the Advanced Research Methods Workshop Series.
In 2008, Pettit was named senior vice-president of research and standards at the Advertising Research Foundation, where his contributions included the completion of the largest ARF study to date and the publishing of a ground breaking report on the factors influencing online data quality.
