Aydin Handling eyevis In North America

Aydin Visual Solutions, Atlanta, Georgia, has partnered with eyevis Germany to supply products, sales support and marketing to the North American market.
The new eyevis’ omniSHAPES and the company’s new 60” 4k LCD panel drew much attention during the recent InfoComm show in Orando.
“We’re in talks with many interested parties, but won’t be able to deliver products until December,” says Balmforth. “In the meantime, we are looking for System Integrators and AV dealers to represent the eyevis products in the U.S. and Canada.”
Aydin was set up in earlier this month as a division of Video Display Company. It is headed by Tom Burdette, corporate vice-president, formerly with Barco. East coast sales are being handled by John Balmforth, market development manager, formerly with Sony Display Group. David Ocheltree, business development, is handling west coast sales. He was previously with Sony Professional Solutions of America. All three have many years’ experience in the industry.
