The digital landscape in UK Gyms has changed somewhat in the last month or so. We note that (effectively) Primesight are now out of the health and fitness market with Boomerang winning all of their old 6 sheet contracts.
In a June press release, Boomerang announced that it had increased its advertising offering to include three new health and fitness chains David Lloyd, Nuffield Health and Everyone Active – with the overall network now comprising almost 500 gyms boasting 1.4 million members and a fortnightly footfall of over 4.7million.
With these new wins, Boomerang boasts the UK’s largest health club portfolio of digital and 6-sheet poster formats and it’s interesting to see a new top dog in the Gym advertising business.
It was once all zoom, zoom, Zoom but oh how the tide seems to have turned in the last 12 months.
