Silver Curve Seeks GBP 125K

Andrew Neale

Output Magazine exclusively reports that the London-based developer Silver Curve is seeking new funding to grow Aperture into new markets.

Aperture, of course, is the company’s graphics engine technology for digital signage. Silver Curve is asking for GBP 125,000 for 8.5 percent of the business via crowd investment platform Seedrs. This follows a successful funding round last year, which was then Seedrs’ largest funding amount raised by the most number of investors.

The article states that Silver Curve is looking to encourage uptake amongst other manufacturers, with much of the investment slated to configure Aperture for non-Raspberry Pi systems and says, we quote “It is understood that, at the stated funding level, two new chipsets would be available within twelve to 18 months; overfunding would accelerate development significantly.”

Bryan Crotaz notes (in the original article), we quote again “that all Silver Curve staff and freelancers have already invested, which he believes demonstrates their commitment to, and the security of, the product roadmap.”
