#NECshowcase Keeps Getting Bigger

Adrian J Cotterill, Editor-in-Chief

The 5th NEC Solutions Showcase which takes place next week in London on Thursday 16th May at the Tobacco Dock is just getting bigger and better.

videowalls_reggieLast year, in April 2012 we wrote “Can The #NECshowcase Get Any Better?” and judging by a number of things we see, hear and are involved in this time around, the answer to that question is going to be a resounding ‘YES’.

Let’s see…

  • We’ve already had a sneak preview at their show guide, you may remember we wrote about last year’s brochure “No doubt one of the things that makes the #NECshowcase so good is their attention to detail …. one look at how good the NEC brochure for the event was will demonstrate just how professionally everything was planned. The brochure … is well worth a look and would make many exhibition organisers weep” and surprise surprise (well not really) this year it’s just as good
  • Folks like Scala (and Pixel Inspiration) and ONELAN (with little place else to go in Europe now that #ScreenmediaExpo is no more) are seemingly pulling out all the stops to showcase their solutions
  • Our Thought Leadership Summit this time around is entitled Video Walls Unplugged (there are still a few seats available, you can register here), has attracted the best speakers (if you weren’t asked to speak you need not apply) talking quickly, passionately and intelligently about all aspects of the topic in one two hour session in the morning and another in the afternoon (giving attendees plenty of time to network, ask questions of the speakers and of course, go see the showcase)

.. and with just over a week to go we understand that there have already been a 1,000 registrations and not only that, but the event is also attracting a pan-European audience including visitors from France, Germany, Scandinavia, Hungary, Netherlands, and more!

The Showcase will, as in previous years, be a great place to discover ‘best in class’ innovative technology solutions within a number of interactive zones including Retail, Digital out of Home, Education, Transport, Leisure, Healthcare, Media and Corporate Communications. Collaborating within each zone are NEC’s Solution Partners, ensuring exceptional synergies to benefit both the integrator and the end user.

Simon Jackson, VP for NEC Display Solutions told us “The NEC Showcase fulfils the need for an integrated display solutions show where the industry market leaders can work together in showing fully operational solutions to both the channel and end customers”.

The event is well known for its use of distinctive venues (O2 last year, the year before Battersea Power Station), the 2013 Showcase will take place at the iconic Tobacco Dock in East London, providing a unique backdrop against which to showcase the latest developments that impact the displays industry.

Registration is nearly full so be click and quick here.
