At ISE a number of screen manufacturers and resellers had screens of various shapes and sizes to display. Our award for the best and most effective way to showcase them goes to albiral, a Spanish distributor who had this really cool 6 foot high ‘rack’ of 21 screens.
Very, very neat.

Great to see six-sheet posters and Titan’s exceptional ‘Transvision’ screen being used at London’s Victoria station to promote Sky One’s fourth season of the TV programme ‘Lost’ - shame that the marketing folks behind the campaign are continuing to play around with Bluetooth (we say let the ‘bluejacking’ lie down and die gracefully).

The Deutsche Postbank installation if you remember is shrouded in secrecy (not sure why, it’s nothing special and at 850 venues not that large THESE days). It’s a T-Systems (division of Deutsche Telekom) using 42media group’s OxygenMediaPlatform deployment.
We have requested photos a couple of times but the requests have fallen on deaf ears.

Overall, ISE seemed to be very well attended and their were many very busy stands. We thought based on the Tuesday and Wednesday at least that the busiest stand was that of AMX (and Inspired Signage) shown above.

The ITrans screen (from Screen Technology in Cambridge, UK) on the Hantarex stand was so bright (several thousand candelas) that it was difficult to take a good picture of it (we had to angle our cameras high to reduce the glare so couldn’t get the whole screen in the shot).
